What is the New Taipei City Birth Incentive?
The New Taipei City Government provides a birth incentive to its citizens to encourage childbirth and reduce the burden of raising children.
Eligible Recipients
At the time of birth registration, one parent must have been a resident of New Taipei City for at least 10 months.
The newborn's birth registration must be completed according to regulations.
Incentive Amount (one-time payment per birth)
First birth: NT$40,000
Second birth: NT$45,000
Third birth (and beyond): NT$50,000
How to Apply
Apply at the Household Registration Office when registering the newborn's birth.
Submit the application within the specified period.
Required Documents
Applicant's ID card, seal, newborn's birth certificate, household registration booklet, and a copy of the applicant's bankbook.
