Taichung City Maternity Allowance (Love Your Pregnancy Plan)
If you have been registered in Taichung City for 180 days, the first and second births will receive NT$20,000, the third birth NT$30,000, and the fourth birth NT$40,000.
Taipei City Birth Incentive (2026)
For those who have been registered residents of Taipei City for more than 6 months, the subsidy is NT$40,000 for the first child, NT$45,000 for the second child, and NT$50,000 for the third or subsequent children.
New Taipei City Birth Incentive (New System in 2026)
For those who have been registered residents of New Taipei City for 10 months, the subsidy is NT$40,000 for the first child, NT$45,000 for the second child, and NT$50,000 for the third or subsequent children.
Subsidies for Quasi-Public Kindergartens
Children attending quasi-public kindergartens that have contracts with the government can receive a monthly subsidy, with parents paying approximately 3,000 to 6,000 yuan out of pocket, which is far lower than that of typical private kindergartens.

Children under 5 years old who do not use public or quasi-public childcare services can receive a childcare allowance of up to NT$5,000 per month.
