Why Apply for a Certification Incentive?
Obtaining a national-level technical certificate not only signifies professional skills but also increases employment income. To encourage new immigrants to pursue further education, the government provides incentive subsidies. Popular application categories include: beauty, hairdressing, Chinese and Western cuisine cooking, baking, and caregiver services.

Application Requirements
Identity: New immigrant holding a valid residence permit.
Validity Period: Applications must be submitted within one year of the certificate's "effective date".
Number of Rewards: Each person is limited to one reward per level (Level C and B).

Photocopy of both sides of the technician's certificate.
Photocopy of valid residence permit.
Photocopy of the applicant's bankbook cover.
How to Apply?
Central Government Incentive: Apply to the Skills Testing Center of the Workforce Development Agency, Ministry of Labor.
Local Bonus: Consult your local county/city government (Labor Bureau/Department); some counties/cities offer higher subsidies.
