What is the Multilingual Driver's License Exam Service?
To assist new immigrants in obtaining their driver's licenses smoothly and improve traffic safety and convenience, the Highway Bureau provides multilingual written exam services at all Motor Vehicle Offices throughout Taiwan. This ensures that candidates' exam scores are not affected by language barriers.
Service Items
Multilingual Test Questions: Provides computerized test question translation, supporting 8 languages including Vietnamese, Hindi, Thai, English, Japanese, Korean, Cambodian, and Burmese.
Audio Test: Provides multilingual audio prompts for those who are illiterate or have reading difficulties.
Native Language Question Bank Download: The Highway Bureau's website provides a complete native language question bank for candidates to download and practice.
Application Process
Physical Examination: Complete the driver's license exam medical examination at a public hospital or a designated institution of the Motor Vehicle Office.
Exam Registration: When registering at the Motor Vehicle Office, select the desired language in the "Exam Language" section of the registration form.
Written Test: The test will be conducted on a computer; the system will automatically display the test questions in the selected language.
Road Test: After passing the written test, you can take the actual road test.

The service itself is completely free; candidates only need to pay the standard registration and fees.
