What is the Vocational Training Living Allowance?
This is a living allowance provided to workers who have involuntarily left their jobs and are arranged by a public employment service agency to participate in full-time vocational training, ensuring they have basic living expenses during their training period.
Eligibility Requirements
Involuntary resignation and status as an insured person under Employment Insurance
Recommended by a public employment service agency to participate in full-time vocational training
Full-time training every month during the training period
Payment Amount and Duration
60% of the average monthly insured salary for the 6 months prior to resignation and insurance withdrawal, paid monthly.
Maximum payment period: 6 months
An additional 10% is paid for each dependent without working income (parents, spouse, minor or disabled children), up to a maximum of 20%.
How to Apply
Register for job seeking with a public employment service agency and receive recommended vocational training.
After participating in full-time vocational training, the training unit/Labour Insurance Bureau will issue the payment.
Required Documents
National ID card, proof of resignation, proof of participation in vocational training, and a copy of your domestic bank account.
