What is the Universities and Colleges Disadvantaged Bursary?

To assist economically disadvantaged students in colleges and universities to attend school, a bursary to subsidize tuition and miscellaneous fees according to family-year income level.

Subsidy objects

  • Students attending public and private colleges and universities
  • Family annual income of about 900,000 yuan or less (recognized according to the regulations of the current year)

Subsidy Amount

  • Subsidy for tuition and miscellaneous expenses $5,000 to $35,000 depending on family annual income level
  • The lower the income, the higher the subsidy bracket

How to apply

  1. Submit an application each semester to the Life Counseling Unit/Academic Department of the School Attended
  2. Grade gaps are determined by the school after surveying the annual income of the family

Documents should be prepared

Bursary application form, proof of family members (household information), proof of income as required by the school
