What is the Universities and Colleges Disadvantaged Bursary?
To assist economically disadvantaged students in colleges and universities to attend school, a bursary to subsidize tuition and miscellaneous fees according to family-year income level.
Subsidy objects
- Students attending public and private colleges and universities
- Family annual income of about 900,000 yuan or less (recognized according to the regulations of the current year)
Subsidy Amount
- Subsidy for tuition and miscellaneous expenses $5,000 to $35,000 depending on family annual income level
- The lower the income, the higher the subsidy bracket
How to apply
- Submit an application each semester to the Life Counseling Unit/Academic Department of the School Attended
- Grade gaps are determined by the school after surveying the annual income of the family
