What is the Kinmen County Maternity Subsidy?
To encourage childbirth and alleviate the financial burden on families, the Kinmen County Government has established a maternity subsidy system. Families with newborns who meet the household registration requirements can apply for a one-time cash subsidy.

Who can apply?
At the time of the newborn's birth, one of the parents must be registered residents of Kinmen County.
The newborn must complete Kinmen County household registration after birth.
Submit the application within the specified application period (usually within 6 months of birth).
Application Process
Prepare the following documents: Infant's household registration certificate, father's (or mother's) ID card, and bankbook cover.
Go to the Social Affairs Department of the District Office where the household registration is located or the Kinmen County Government Social Affairs Bureau.

Notes
This subsidy can be received in conjunction with the Central Government's maternity allowance.
